Madison is one of the most popular areas for home buyers. The schools are good, there is shopping in place and the commute to Redstone Arsenal and Research Park is easy.
We have a listing in madison where we just lowered the price that might be a candidate for you. It's on a corner lot in a good neighborhood. Please let me know if you want to see it.

The link below is to listings in Madison you may want to have a closer look at http://nalmls.com/NALMLSReports/ListitLib/show_report.aspx?ID=7117693294
151 KYSER BLVDis in a neighborhood that exits onto Sullivan Street. There is always a lot of traffic on Sullivan so getting into traffic will be hard at times. It's also close to the railroad crossing so there will be some noise from the train.
708 CRESTVIEW DRIVE is on a good street but it is a short sale. The seller is asking the lender to sell the house for less than the loan amount. It sometimes takes weeks to get a response on a short sale offer.
I'm a little concerned about the location of 217 PINE RIDGE ROAD it's across Shelton Road from a lot of low income mulfaimly and close to the rail road crossing. It's also on a steep lot. We have to be careful on steep lots for foundation problems, storm water runoff and the yard can't really be used.
117 MIDDLEWICH DRIVE is in a growing area of Madison and is new construction. It's not far from the rail road but there is not a crossing its a bridge. The train won't be blowing it's horn. There is a $150 annual homeowner's association fee that includes the pool. We just have to see how soon it will be finished,
1117 MAHAN DRIVEis an older home but looks to be in decent shape. Since it has an older floor plan it will be less attractive to most buyers. Eventually you will resell and need to consider how most buyers will view the house.
153 CHURCH HILL DOWNS COURT is in a stable Madison neighborhood but all of the bedrooms are upstairs. The neighborhood does exit to Hughes Road so it is a little hard to merge into traffic. At an eventual resale buyers with small children or those that have trouble climbing stairs will avoid homes with all the bedrooms upstairs. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=153+CHURCH+HILL+DOWNS+COURT,+MADISON,+AL+35758&hl=en&ll=34.748454,-86.735129&spn=0.009256,0.017231&sll=34.750076,-86.735129&sspn=0.009256,0.017231&t=h&gl=US&hnear=153+Church+Hill+Downs+Ct,+Madison,+Alabama+35758&z=16
145 WHISPERWOOD LANE Might be a good candidate. It's in a stable neighborhood in a good location. If you like the house I will see if it is priced well. Note that it's tenant occupied and the carpet may not be in the best condition.
216 ANDRA STREET is in an established Madison Neighborhood on the south side of Madison making commutes to Redstone Arsenal and Research Park faster. It is close to the railroad tracks and not too far from the grade crossing at Shelton Road where the train will blow it's horn.
207 EVALYN STREET is the same neighborhood. It's a split level where the bedrooms are on the top floor but there are less stairs than in a two story home. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=207+EVALYN+STREET,+MADISON,+AL+35758&hl=en&ll=34.696373,-86.729786&spn=0.009262,0.017231&sll=34.697943,-86.729786&sspn=0.009262,0.017231&t=h&gl=US&hnear=207+Evalyn+St,+Madison,+Alabama+35758&z=16
112 FIELDS POND DRIVE is in a newer neighborhood WAY down south on Zierdt Roadnear Triana. We would need to check to see when the house would be finished. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=112+FIELDS+POND+DRIVE,+MADISON,+AL+35756&hl=en&ll=34.588156,-86.738048&spn=0.009274,0.017231&sll=34.590082,-86.738048&sspn=0.009274,0.017231&t=h&gl=US&hnear=112+Fields+Pond+Dr,+Madison,+Alabama+35756&z=16
Another option for you might be south Huntsville. The schools are good and the commute to Redstone is easy. We filtered through around 30 listings to find the ones below we thought you might like.

At first 2401 BELL MANOR DRIVE looked lake a good candidate, its in a new subdivision where we have sold several homes. It's just outside the arsenal ad at first look it seems to be well priced. its located at the entrance to the subdivision however and right next to Bell Road. There will be a lot of traffic and little privacy. It;s just not a good lot.
