Foreclosures might or might not be a good deal. There is a whole new set of potential problems when working with foreclosures. The most common is the condition of the property and getting funding. If the property is in poor condition lenders may not want to finance. There may also be a right of redemption that will prevent lenders from funding without a redemption bond (About $2,000).
